After hearing, it was decided that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Faridkot shall visit M/s Krishna Plastics (adjoining unit) personally, within 15 days and to submit a detailed report alongwith conclusive recommendations.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span></span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for premises-II in the name of M/s Gela Ram Prem Kumar for manufacturing of achar @170 Kg/day, Sarabat @50 Kg/day, Murraba @200 Kgs/day and Circa @50 Kgs/day. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The application of the industry has been examined and observed that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has been established in the year 1999 and has submitted certificate from DTP, Faridkot vide letter no. 767 dated 22.07.2022 as per which it has been mentioned that the industry falls under industrial spot zone as per Draft Master Plan, Faridkot. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has installed ETP @ 5 KLD for treatment of effluent generated from this unit as well as from sister concerned unit M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog Samiti (Regd) which is based on batch treatment process. The industry has provided arrangement for treatment of treated effluent for flushing as well as floor cleaning. The industry has submitted completion certificate from M/s Aditya Hi-Tech, Kotkapura, Distt. Faridkot.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Regional Office needs to clarify the following;</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Since the industry is manufacturing pickles etc. and is packing the same in plastic containers. Is the industry covered brand owner category as per PWM Rules, 2016? If so status of registration under PWM Rules, 2016.</span></p>

Further, RO has failed to comment upon the technical feasibility of batch treatment process of ETP for treatment of effluent from the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Since, a single ETP has been installed for M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog Samiti and M/s Gela Ram Prem Kumar RO has not specified that the ETP has installed in which of the two units as the outlet of the ETP is single. Whether the industry have made any mutual agreement for treatment of effluent of one of the unit into the ETP of other unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">RO also to provide adequacy of plantation area in case of discharge of treated effluent onto land for plantation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has mentioned that acid is being used as raw material. RO to specify what kind of acid is being used is process of the industry. Also, RO has earlier mentioned that only tomato ketchup is manufactured, however now the RO has mentioned that achar, sarbat, murabba, vinegar is being manufactured in the unit. RO to specify whether the industry has installed additional machinery for production of above products and whether production of ketchup has been stopped as the same is not reflected in the products of the industry. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Earlier, RO has mentioned that the industry has installed wood fired baby boiler, however now it has been mentioned that no boiler / furnace has been installed in the premises. Has the boiler installed by the industry dismantled? Further, no comment has been made regarding usage of molasses by the industry in boiler.</span></p>
