<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">It is submitted that the institute was issued show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate vide ZO letter no. 642 dated 17.02.2023 as the industry failed to comply with the following special conditions of earlier granted consent to operate:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">1. The institute will provide green belt of 15 meter towards the air polluting industry (brick kiln in this case), located within 100 meter from the premises and further the institute will provide green belt of 5 meter towards the air polluting industry located beyond 100 meter distance.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">2. The institute will obtain change of land use from the Department of Town & Country Planning or any other Competent Authority. The Board will not be responsible for any loss, in case the institute not obtain CLU of land on account of non-obtaining of such permission.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">3. The institute will comply with the provisions of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Now, the institute has submitted its reply w.r.t. the show cause notice stating that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">1.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The institute has submitted that they have provided 50 feet green belt towards the brick kiln and attached photographs of the same.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The institute has submitted classification report issued from the DTP Moga vide letter no. 292 dated 02.02.2023, which is reproduced as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PA" style="font-family: 'Raavi','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-font-family: Verdana; mso-hansi-font-family: Verdana;">ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਾਚਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਕਬਾ ਜਲਾਲਾਬਾਦ ਈਸਟ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਰਕਬਾ ਨੋਟੀਫਾਈਡ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਪਲੈਨ ਮੋਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਜ਼ਵੀਜਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ ਆਗਿਆ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੀ.ਐਲ.ਯੂ./ਸਾਈਟ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਣੀ ਜਾਂ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The institute has submitted that they have provided separate dustbin for municipal solid waste and they are generating solid waste @ 4-5 kg/day, which is being lifted by the Municipal Authorities for scientific disposal of the same.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The RO has not visited/ verified the reply submitted by the PP. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">If approved, RO may be asked to visit and comment upon reply of SCN submitted by the PP and also give clear cut recommendations in the matter, please.</span></p>
