<p style="text-align: justify;">Kindly peruse the report/ recommendations sent by RO, SAS Nagar.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The RO has reported that the project proponent has earmarked the entire boundary of the project with burji and there exists one solid waste dump site of Municipal Corporation, Mohali, which is situated within approx. 200 mtr.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The RO has mentioned regarding the distance of the site from various unit such as rice sheller, brick kiln, cement grinding and stone crusher etc., however, its distance from CBWTF is not mentioned. Also, the RO has not given any comment regarding the suitability of site vis-a-vis its distance from the dumping site in light of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 and the 'GUIDELINES ON THE PROVISION OF BUFFER ZONE AROUND WASTE PROCESSING AND DISPOSAL FACILITIES ' dated April, 2017 issued by CPCB.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keeping above in consideration, if approved, the application be sent back to RO for clarifying/ submitting comments on the aforesaid observations and submit fresh concrete & conclusive recommendations in lieu to the clarification/ comments to be submitted by it.</p> |
