<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is submitted that</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> the industry is a small scale <span style="background: white;">green category </span>unit<span style="background: white;">, the industry was earlier granted consent to operate for large scale green unit under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no.</span> <span style="background: white;">CTOW/Renew/LDH3/2022/19571111 dated 05.09.2022 and Air Act, 1981 vide no</span> <span style="background: white;">CTOA/Renew/LDH3/2022/19571268 dated 05.09.2022 for the production of industrial packing material @ 600 Kgs/day with the disposal of only domestic effluent @ 0.2 KLD </span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">into sewer</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">, which were expired on 01.03.2023. Further Directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 were issued to restore the electric connection of the unit upto 01.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <span style="background: white;">for the production of industrial packing material @ 600 Kgs/day with the disposal of only domestic effluent @ 0.2 KLD </span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">into sewer</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> The industry had already deposited Rs. 14,400/- vide UTR. no. N289201276928503 dated 15.10.2020 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 14,400/ - vide UTR. no. N289201276930739 dated 15.10.2020 under Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 1100/ - vide UTR.no. N289201276913802 dated 15.10.2020 as NOC regularization fee. The fee submitted by the industry is adequate upto 31.03.2029 under both acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 06.03.2023 and observed that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of above, it is recommended that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -13.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for the period of six months with the special condition that the industry shall never manufacture/ store polythene carry bags in future.</span></p>
