<p>The industry has submitted reply w.r.t. proposed 2nd phase vaccuum induction melting. The industry has intimated that Vacuum Induction melting is carried out in a steel shell that is connected to high speed vacuum system as compared to melting in an Air Induction Melting process carried out in open air. This process provides considerable reduction in Oxygen and Nitrogen Contents in Steel to manufacture complex alloys employed in Aero Space Engineering, Defence and Medical applications.</p>
