CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2017/6538971 dated 19.11.2017 valid upto 30.06.2022 and Vide no. CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2018/8942796 dated 11.12.2018 valid upto 30.06.2023.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 5.05pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited Rs. 58800/-<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Vide R/No. KKBKH23058888198 dated 27.02.2023 under Water Act 1974 and Rs. 45000/- Vide R/No. 69/5080 dated 11.01.2017 and Rs. 48200/- (Including Rs. 500/- as application form fee and Rs. 5600/- as NOC fee) Vide R/No. KKBKH23058887216 dated 27.02.2023 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2027.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 5.05pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry was visited by officer of this office 06.03.2023 and during visit it was observed that the industry was in operation and is engaged in the manufacturing rubber tyres and tubes. The industry has<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>installed 1 no. pet coke fired boiler with multi cyclone followed by wet alkali scrubber as APCD along with stack of adequate height. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 200 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. Entire cooling water is being re-circulated.<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>The industry has already submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factory Act, Punjab.<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 5.05pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry is small scale<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>red category unit and the competency of case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 2.95pt 0cm .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping<span style="letter-spacing: -.15pt;"> </span>in view<span style="letter-spacing: -.1pt;"> </span>of<span style="letter-spacing: -.15pt;"> </span>above,<span style="letter-spacing: -.15pt;"> </span>it<span style="letter-spacing: -.1pt;"> </span>is<span style="letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> </span>recommended<span style="letter-spacing: -.15pt;"> </span>that<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2027 with suitable condition and with special condition that the industry shall get its stack emission samples analyzed from Board’s Lab within 01 month.</span></p> |
