<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the compliance of code of practice of poultry farm observed during visit dated 01/03/2023 is attached herewith as Annexure-A.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is further, intimated that the poultry farm submitted a report issued from SDM, Batala vide letter no. 817 dated 21/02/2023 and report issued from the DTP, Gurdaspur vide letter no. 189 dated 28/02/2023. Compliance of siting criteria of poultry farm is attached herewith as Annexure-B.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is pertinent to mentioned here that as explained in Annexure-B the poultry farm is not complying with the siting criteria as per Para No. 8. However, as per report of DTP, Gurdaspur the site is suitable for the establishment of poultry farm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As above in light of my agenda note dated 04/03/2023, it is therefore again recommended as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">“Legal Opinion from Senior Law Officer, Patiala may be obtained for deciding the consent application of the poultry farm in question as the Boundary wall as well as shed of hatchery unit is located within 10 mts from village pagdandi which is non-compliance of siting criteria laid down by CPCB, however, as per report of DTP, Gurdaspur, the site is suitable for the establishment of poultry farm.”</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is pertinent to mention here that the proceedings of the personal hearing dated 13.02.2023 before the Chief Environmental Engineer (J) are awaited.</span></p> |
