G16PTACTOW4024558 dated 13/05/2016 valid upto 31/12/2021 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. G16PTACTOA4024565 dated 13/05/2016 valid upto 31/12/2021 with certain conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">Now, the poultry farm has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Eggs @ 76000 Numbers/Day by using Poultry Feed, Bajra, Rice Bran, Soya etc. @ 8 MT/Day Birds (In Numbers) @ 95000 Nos./Day as raw material under green category with requisite documents</span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px;">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry has deposited Rs. 67200/- vide UTR no. N033232313741902 dated 02.02.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 67200/- vide UTR no. N033232313741458 dated 02.02.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The total consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.12.2027 against the fixed assets of Rs. 373.07 lakh as on 31.03.2022 as per CA certificate submitted by it. The industry has also deposited Rs. 4200/- vide UTR No. N033232313732987 dated 02.02.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The poultry farm has submitted compliance report of the consent conditions earlier granted to it under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The poultry farm was visited by the AEE of this office on 27.02.2023. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">1. The poultry farm was in operation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6pt 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">2. The domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6pt 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">3. No any trade effluent is being generated.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6pt 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">4. The poultry farm has provided pucca pit for disposal of dead birds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6pt 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">5. The poultry farm has planted along the boundary walls.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6pt 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">6. The birds dropping has being accumulated under the poultry shed. The representative of the poultry farm is informed that all of birds dropping are given to nearby farmers. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry is complying with provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 31.12.2027 for manufacturing of Eggs @ 76000 Numbers/Day by using Poultry Feed, Bajra, Rice Bran, Soya etc. @ 8 MT/Day Birds (In Numbers) @ 95000 Nos./Day as raw material under green category with usual conditions as per the policy of the Board and with a following additional conditions that: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">1. The poultry farm shall not increase its bird capacity without obtaining prior NOC/ varied consent to operate from the Board as well as without providing adequate pollution control measures.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">2. The industry shall strictly comply with the latest environmental guidelines for poultry farm issued by CPCB from time to time. .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">3. The industry shall ensure that there is no public nuisance polluted in the area due to activities within its premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 27px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">4. The industry shall comply with the guidelines of the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></p> |
