| Clarification Note: |
It is intimated that the application of the industry for obtaining varied consent to operate was scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The project proponent has not filled complete application form i.e. PART-A: GENERAL INFORMATION Serial No. 9 (i) & (ii), PART-B: TECHNICAL INFORMATION (GENERAL) and PART-C: TECHNICAL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR CONSENT UNDER WATER ACT, 1974.
2. The project proponent has applied under Red category (1063-Building and construction projects more than 20,000 sq. m built up area and having waste water generation 100 KLD and above). The project proponent needs to clarify whether the built up area is more than 20000 sqm. If yes, the project proponent needs to submit Environmental Clearance issued by Competent Authority.
3. The project proponent has not submitted compliance report of the previous granted consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
4. The project proponent has not submitted permission from Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA) regarding abstraction of ground water as per special condition no. 6 of the earlier consents granted by the Board.
It is requested to clarify regarding the same within 03 days so as to proceed further in the matter. Until then the application will be treated as incomplete. |
