Further, the solid waste generated by the institute is being lifted by Municipal Authorities. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, it is to be mentioned here that as per Board’s office order dated 28.02.2020, <em>“the bulk waste generator shall ensure segregation of solid waste at source facilitate collection of segregated waste in separate streams, handover recyclable material to either the authorized waste pickers or the authorized recyclers as prescribed in Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated and disposed of through composting or bio-methanation within the premises as far as possible. The residual waste shall be given to the waste collectors or agency as directed by the local body.”</em></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">As per Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>“bulk waste generator” means and includes buildings occupied by the Central government departments or undertakings, State government departments or undertakings, local bodies, public sector undertakings or private companies, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, colleges, universities, other educational institutions, hostels, hotels, commercial establishments, markets, places of worship, stadia and sports complexes having an average waste generation rate exceeding 100 kg per day.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, the institute is having strength of 100 students in its premises. As such, the generation of municipal solid waste is less than 100 kg/day.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="PA" style="font-family: 'Raavi','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਾਚਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਕਬਾ ਜਲਾਲਾਬਾਦ ਈਸਟ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਰਕਬਾ ਨੋਟੀਫਾਈਡ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਪਲੈਨ ਮੋਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਜ਼ਵੀਜਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ ਆਗਿਆ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੀ.ਐਲ.ਯੂ./ਸਾਈਟ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਣੀ ਜਾਂ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 85.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.09.2027 for operation of ITI with strength of 100 students, subject to the suitable conditions.</span></p>
