<p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>During hearing, Sh. Abhimanyu Goyal, Partner of the industry submitted written reply to the notice issued, which has been taken on record. He further stated that the industry has procured the hazardous waste to be incinerated from M/s Markfed Agro Chemical, Mohali and submitted the details w.r.t. the quantity of hazardous waste procured, record regarding consumption of fuel, six monthly compliance reports of the conditions imposed in the environmental clearance and the record regarding the Online Real-time Continuous Monitoring facility installed at site. He further submitted that since the industry is not in regular operation as such the air emission sampling of the industry could not be carried out. He further assured that the industry is committed to ensure the compliance of the environmental norms at all times.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> After hearing the Partner of the industry and the officers of the Board, the Chairman of the Board decided that the Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Bathinda shall immediately examine the documents submitted by the industry and process the consent applications applied under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 with clear-cut recommendations, within one week.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The Regional Office has now reported as under:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has informed that it has received hazardous waste only from one firm i.e. M/s Markfed Agro Chemicals, Mohali and in this regard the industry has submitted Form IV. Thus, the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>statement given by industry is correct.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has submitted that it has used 1706 Litres HSD for which incineration of previous lot received during the period of September 2021 to January, 2022. The representative of the industry has informed that the industry is lying closed since, January, 2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has now submitted the 6 monthly compliance report of conditions imposed in the Environmental Clearance granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">With respect to conduct of air emission sampling the industry has not submitted analysis report of air sampling and in this regard, it has informed that the industry shall submit the schedule of operation of its unit in PPCB and air emission sampling will be collected at that time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has submitted the record of Hazardous waste maintained by it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has informed that the operational schedule will be informed after the availability of hazardous waste i.e. expired pesticides.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Further, it has been recommended by the Regional Office that consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of above, if approved, consents to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2027 with following specific conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry will comply with the conditions imposed in the Environmental Clearance granted to it by MoEf & CC vide F.No. 10-69/2018-IA-III dated 20.09.2019.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry will get its air emission sample analyzed from the Board’s Lab/approved Lab of the Board, within 2 months <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and shall submit its operational schedule to the Regional Office, Bathinda of the Board. </span></p>
