The electric connection of the plant has already been disconnected vide PSPCL’s TDCO no. 081/82667 dated 17.10.2022. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Raw material like aggregates/sand was also not available at the site. During visit, only watchman was available at the site.</span></p>

The project proponent has provided an automatic mechanical arrangement for feeding of the cement in the mixing machine directly from the storage area to avoid any dust emissions in the area in a closed manner. The residential houses are also there at a distance of 70-75 meters on the other side of the road i.e. at front side of the plant. Further, there is a Grain Market on one side of the plant i.e. on right hand side and some slums/quarters are there on the other side of the plant i.e. along the Dhuri Railway Line i.e. on left hand side. It is pertinent to mention here that currently the RMC plant is not in operation. Hence, its effect onto surrounding areas cannot be determined. However, the project proponent was asked to make best efforts to control dust emissions.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
