<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">It is intimated that the industry is a small scale green category unit and was granted Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/LDH3/2017/5710657 & CTOA/Fresh/LDH3/2017/5710548 dated 19.06.2017 each, both was valid upto 31.12.2022 for Finishing of Cotton Fabrics @ 2 T/day, Finishing of Polyester Fabrics @ 3 T/day with discharge of domestic effluent @ 2 KLD alongwith one baby boiler of capacity @ 0.5 TPH subject to conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Thereafter, the industry had applied for Consent to Establish (NOC) for expansion under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for finishing of cotton fabrics @ 2 Tonne/day, finishing of polyester fabrics @ 3 Tonne /day and dyeing for all type of fabrics (cotton/pc /polyester) @ 8.4 Tonne/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 597 KLD into CETP (50 MLD) and domestic effluent @ 3 KLD into CETP (50 MLD) along with boiler of capacity 5 TPH with rice husk/ wood/ agro waste as fuel with multi cyclone separator as APCD & baby boiler @ 0.5 TPH with adequate stack height and DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy under Red Category. The application of the industry for Consent to Establish (NOC) for expansion was refused vide no. CTE/Exp/LDH3/2022/18690302 dated 20.06.2022 due to during the meeting taken by Chairman of the Board on 17.05.2022 and it was advised that as the finalization of the shares of the existing units is still not complete, no new NOC be issued to new units until the shares are distributed among the existing members.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS under green category for Finishing of Cotton Fabrics @ 2 T/day, Finishing of Polyester Fabrics @ 3 T/day with discharge of domestic effluent @ 2 KLD alongwith one baby boiler of capacity @ 0.5 TPH.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has deposited Rs. 58,340/- vide online receipt no. 873576920 dated 27.02.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 65,240/- (58340/- Air + 6400/- NOC fee + 500/- form fee) under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, 1981. The industry has submitted C.A certificate dated 14.01.2023 for gross fixed assets @ 307.20 Lac. The gross block fixed assets are increased from 110.81 Lac to 307.20 Lac. The industry has also deposited Rs. 6400/- as NOC regularization fee for increased of fixed assets. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 21.10.2029 after deduction of Rs. 840/- as penalty.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Accordingly, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 03.03.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

D.G. set of capacity @ 120 KVA, which is equipped with canopy and adequate stack. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .3in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2028 for Finishing of Cotton Fabrics @ 2 T/day, Finishing of Polyester Fabrics @ 3 T/day with discharge of domestic effluent @ 2 KLD alongwith one baby boiler of capacity @ 0.5 TPH under Green category with suitable terms & conditions and with special condition that :- </span></p>
