CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/19270204 & CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/19270187 dated 29.08.2022 each, both valid upto 28.02.2023 for washing of Garments @ 1000 Nos/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 09 KLD into sewer after ETP & domestic effluent @ 0.8 KLD into sewer alongwith one DG set of 32 KVA. </span></p>

The ETP is consisting equalization tank, reaction tank with chemical dozing sump, dual media filter and final out.<span style="color: red;"> </span>The ETP was not in operation due to lack of effluent and non operation of the unit, hence sampling could not be carried out.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">F) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has also obtained the continuity certificate u/s 79 of Punjab Regional Town and Development Act Amended 2016 from MC, Ludhiana, for the operation of unit at this location upto August, 2018. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">G) Further, as per Board's order no. 21 dated 08.06.2018, it has been decided that the existing industrial units/ other establishments which were established before the notification of the master plan of the respective cities shall be allowed “consents/extension under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and authorization under the provisions of Hazardous Waste Management Rules, 2016 for a period of 15 years (i.e. 31.08.2023) from the date of the notification of master plan alter taking the concrete documentary proof regarding the date of commissioning of such units. No separate approval from local bodies/other authorities is required to be obtained.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of the above, it is recommended that:-</span></p>
