<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the SCN was issued due to 2 violations points of the pp:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1) The domestic effluent of the labour quarters was disposed off through mobile tankers after septic tank.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2) <span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -48px; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -48px; background-color: #ffffff;">The project proponent has not installed anti smog gun in compliance of CPCB directions.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -48px; background-color: #ffffff;">Now, the pp has submitted reply as under:</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -48px; background-color: #ffffff;">1) </span>The project proponent would like to submit that we have already constructed the septic tanks on the site and thus no untreated waste water will be disposed off through mobile tanker or discharged in to jagatpura drain. Further, project proponent assured the board to develop the adequate plantation area to utilize the treated water from septic tanks within in 15 days.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2) The project proponent would like to submit that we have already started working on antismog gun. We are calling out quotations from different vendors across the region. One of the quotations is attached is annexure-1. It would take around 6-8 months for the product to be delivered and commissioned.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hence, for both the points, the project proponent has yet not made the compliance which can be verified after visiting the site, but has desired time ranging from 15 days to 6 months for the 02 activities. </p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">In view of reply submitted by the pp, it is recommended as under:</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">1) EC amounting to Rs 1 Lacs may be imposed on the pp <span style="font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;">on the basis of best assessment and judgement, </span>for not having made adequate arrangement for disposal of untreated domestic waste-water generated from labour toilets.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">2) CTE extension may be granted till 07.11.2023 subject to special condition as under:</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">a) The pp will make arrangement for the scientific disposal of waste-water generated from labour hutments.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">b) The pp will install and commisison anti-smog gun in its project within one month, as timeline as given in CPCB directions has already lapsed.</p> |
