R13MOGCTOW474358 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>R13MOGCTOA474321 dated 05.09.2013 for manufacturing of Battery plates @ 3000 pcs/day & batteries @ 25 pcs/day, valid for a period upto 30.06.2018, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry was visited by then AEE<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>along with JSO of the Board on 15.10.2020to collect the emission sample and as per the analysis results from the Head Office lab, the concentration of SPM was found to be 17 mg/Nm3 against prescribed standards of 25 mg/Nm3.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Thereafter, the industry has applied renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, which were returned by the Competent Authority as the industry creates duplicate OCMMS id.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has now applied for renewal in validity of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981. Details of the case are as under:-</p>

The institute has deposited Rs. 30,800/- vide Online Receipt <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>No. 21755093 dated 04.01.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 30,800 /- Online<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>vide UTR No.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>111205886 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 04.01.2023 under the Air Act, 1981. The industry has already deposited Rs. Rs. 29,950/- vide UTR/Ref. No. N351201343215280 dated 16.12.2020 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 32,450/- vide UTR/Ref. No. N351201343222965 dated 16.12.2020 under the Air Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate up to 31.03.2030 after imposing penalty and deduction of NOC Regularization fee for increase in the fixed assets.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed wet scrubber as APCD with hood at 02 no. melting furnaces, grid casting, moulding section, lead oxide mixing machine, pasting section, plat and battery charging unit to contain the emissions generated from the process and adequate height of stack has been provided with the APCD with sampling facility, which was found in line.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed recirculation system for recirculation of scrubber water. The industry has provided 3 no. settling tanks with lifting pump to re-circulate the scrubbing water, which was found in line.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided septic tank for treatment of its domestic effluent and treated domestic effluent was being discharged onto land for plantation.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry was complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of the above, if approved, consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.06.2028, subject to the suitable conditions alongwith the following additional conditions that the industry shall get its air emission sample analyzed from the Board's lab, within one month.</p> |
