The resort is having one no. kitchen hall and toilets within the premises. The industry has installed STP for the treatment of the effluent. However, during visit, the STP was found in bad shape. The oil &amp; grease chamber of the STP was full of scum and Solid Waste. The components of the STP were dry and motor of the filters was lying abandoned.&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">Therefore, the industry was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer at Amritsar on 02.01.2023, in reference to show cause notice for violations of the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and it was</span><span lang="EN-US"> decided that the Resort shall complying with pollution control norms and obtain consent to operate from the Board.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Now the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of Marriage Palace under orange category. The project proponent has submitted various documents, which are enclosed along with the application, which may kindly be pursued.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">The industry has submitted feasibility report of STP @ 15 KLD and its Completion Certificate issued from concerned agency. The industry has submitted a copy of the PSPCL Bill as a date of commissioning of the marriage palace, the marriage palace is running since August-2013</span><span lang="EN-US">.&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;The industry has deposited Rs. 1,02,800/- vide UTR No. SBIN523048772780 dated 17/02/2023 &amp; Rs. 97,700/- vide UTR No. BARBV23048255731 dated 17/02/2023 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 5600/- NOC Regularization fee and Rs. 500/- as FDF respectively against gross value of fixed assets of Rs. 89,42,935/- as on 31/03/2022 as per value of C.A. certificate submitted by the industry and same are adequate upto 30/09/2026 under both Acts including Rs. 500/- as form downloading fee.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-US">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-US">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 09/03/2023 and observed as under:-</span></span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 18.6pt;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;">&nbsp; </span>The site is a marriage palace having capacity of approx 200-300 peoples.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 18.6pt;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> &nbsp;</span>The marriage palace has provided STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from kitchen &amp; toilets. Repair and cleaning of STP has carried out. During visit no function was carried out and effluent was not available was sampling. Arrangement is made for use of treated effluent onto land for plantation . </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 18.6pt;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span>The marriage palace has installed One no. D.G. set of capacity 62 KVA, which is provided with canopy and stack of adequate height above roof level. </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 18.6pt;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span>The marriage palace has provided adequate arrangement for storage/disposal of Municipal Solid Waste in scientific manner. Also composting pit is being provided. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The project falls in Orange category in small scale sector, hence competency to decide the case lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board in the light of Head Office, Patiala letter no. 19650-761 dated 30/04/2013.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> <span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 &amp; Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be grated upto 30/09/2026 with the suitable subject to the following along with the special conditions :-</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.6pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 27.6pt;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.
