It was granted consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2022/18696772 dated 25/05/2022, upto 30/06/2025 for one boiler of 03 TPH with cyclone as APCD, one thermopack of 1000 U with bag house as APCD & one DG set of capacity 165 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">with certain conditions.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. was granted vide no. CTOW/Fresh/LDH4/2022/19848327 dated 14/09/2022, upto 13/03/2023 for production of Dyes Yarn @ 01 TPD & Dyed Fabric @ 02 TPD and for discharge of trade effluent @ 99.5 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into CETP (40 MLD) with certain conditions. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Earlier, the consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 was revoked and directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 were issued for closure of the industry as well as disconnection of electric supply as the M.C sewer was not disconnected. The direction was conveyed to this office vide letter no. 5445 dated 26.08.2022. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">In compliance, the electric supply available to the industry has been disconnected by PSPCL authorities vide TDCO no. 298/80 dated 29.08.2022.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Thereafter, while processing the online application no. 19848327, the industry was asked to submit Environmental Compensation amounting to Rs. One Lac. In compliance, the industry submitted Environmental Compensation of Rs. 01 Lac vide R.No. 13/5430 dated 22.09.2022. Accordingly, shot terms consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and restoration of electric connection was approved upto 13.03.2023. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Further, the electric connection of the industry was restored upto 13.03.2023 vide directions no. 5775 dated 14.09.2022</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS on 01.03.2022. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">As per the record, the industry has already deposited consent fee Rs. 54,000/- vide R No. 85306632 dated 08.06.2021 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 30.06.2025 against the gross value of fixed assets Rs. 2,57,30,855.00 and plant & machinery Rs. 55,51,257.00 as on 31.12.2022.</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The industry will also dismantle any other connection available for discharge of effluent either into public sewer or PDA conveyer system.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">The industry should either take measures to control its inlet parameters by good practices and selection of good chemicals for processing or shall operate and maintain its existing effluent treatment plant (ETP), regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the inlet effluent standards of CETP as per DPR.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">There shall be no physical expansion of the unit either with the installation of new machinery or with the permission for enhanced electricity load, after the varied consents are granted for increased discharge of effluent. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">The industry shall maintain the record of flow meter installed at source and at the outlet leading to CETP. </span></li>
