<p>Recommended for issuance of SCN before refusal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974 due to following reasons:-</p>
<p>1. The industry has been established and is operating without obtaining CTO since 15.04.2013. The industry is operating without obtaining registration under the PWM Rules, 2011/2016.</p>
<p>2. The industry has applied for obtaining CTO for production of crumb rubber from waste tyres, but no proposal regarding control of emissions from grinding of waste tyres have been given and also machinery regarding the same has not been installed as verified by the visiting officer.</p>
<p>3. Allotment letter/lease deed by/with PSIEC by the industry is for fabrication and engineering goods and not for plastic waste processing/waste tyre processing. </p> |
