<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry is medium scale red category unit. Earlier, the industry was granted Consent to Establish"(NOC), valid upto 18/09/2023 through PBIP.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The NOC was granted for manufacture, sale and export of precision engineering products and allied engineering products @ 20 MTD by using M.S Round, Flat, ERW etc. @ 26.6 MTD as raw material and discharge of trade effluent @ 15 KLD will be treated through proposed ETP and utilized in process (for core & non-core activities), entirely and domestic effluent @ 10 KLD will be discharged into sewer of Focal Point, Ludhiana after passing through proposed septic tank and for proposed to install one shot blast machine will be provided with cyclone as APCD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacture, sale and export of precision engineering products and allied engineering products @ 20 TPD by using M.S Round, Flat, ERW etc @ 26.66 TPD as raw material for part of the process. <strong>The industry has not added any water polluting machinery yet.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate for one year with cost of plant & machinery Rs. 5,56,35,690/-. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry was visited by officer of RO on 24.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry was not in operation during the visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has 02 no. of sheds, one is established by the M/s Gripwel Conag Pvt. Ltd and the 2nd shed is being dismantled by M/s Gold Star, no operation/manufacturing activity is being carried out under the shed.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The industry has installed 02 shot blast machine of capacity 18 TPD and 08 TPD both are provided with combined pulse jet type dust collector as APCD which is provided with adequate stack height and sampling arrangement.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. The industry has informed that the 08 TPD shot blast is standby and layout plan of both the shot blast machines has been incorporated in the approved building plan of the competent person Director of Factories, Punjab.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. The industry has submitted approved building plan from Sh. Sukhjinder Singh competent person recognized by Director of Factories, Punjab.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6. The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 250 KVA which are provided with canopy alongwith adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">7. The industry has not installed phosphating section/wet process at the site.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">8. There is no generation of trade effluent, only domestic effluent will be generated which shall be discharged into sewer after passing through septic tank.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">9. The site of industry falls in approved Focal Point.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for one year with suitable conditions and with special condition that the industry shall not commission / trial its water polluting process without obtaining consents of the Board.</p>
