CTOA/Renewal/TRT/2016/4478432 dated 22/09/2016, which was valid upto 30/09/2021 for operation of brick kiln with FCBTK Technology. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">Now the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and fresh consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS mode. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln has submitted CA certificate dated 31.03.2022 amount to Rs. 19.17 Lac. The Brick kiln has deposited Rs. 30600/- vide UTR No. SDL124717970 dated 02.03.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 1800/- vide UTR No. SDL124717409 dated 02.03.2023 as NOC regularization fee, Rs 500/- vide UTR No. SDL124717186 dated 02.03.2023 as application form fee, Rs. 3600/- vide UTR No. SDL124718166 dated 02.03.2023 penalty under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Rs. 27000/- vide UTR No. SDL124718308 dated 02.03.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and, which it is adequate upto 30/09/2032 under both acts. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln has submitted completion certificate issued by PSCST, Chandigarh vide letter no. PSCST/CC/1295 dated 10/07/2020 intimating that the industry has constructed induced Draft Brick Kiln with Zigzag Firing as per the technology evolved by PSCST. This completion certificate is issued with the condition that the Kiln owner will ensure the implementation of recommended operating practices as per the Feasibility Report (SPL-1323). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">The Brick Kiln has also submitted the copy of dimensional drawing/plan of Kiln showing the length of Central Island of brick<span style="color: red;"> </span>kiln is 230 ft. The brick kiln has submitted a Certificate duly authenticated by CA Arun Gupta & Co. regarding the coal consumption, wherein the coal consumption for the period from Feb 2019 to October 2022 is NIL. As the brick kiln has obtained completion certificate on 10.07.2020 and has not operated from 01.02.2019 to 10.07.2020, therefore no environmental compensation required paid by the brick kiln. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln has visited by undersigned on 10/03/2023 and observed as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 4.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .25in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry 30/09/2032 with the conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 45.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">The brick kiln will obtain Environmental Clearance under EIA notification for mining of brick clay to be used as a raw material for the manufacturing of bricks as per Head Office order no. 346 dated 1/8/2016.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 45.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; background: white;">The consent is subject to the orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court for the state of Punjab & Haryana/Hon’ble National Green Tribunal or other judiciary authority in the cases pending or being filed with regard to the subject matter of the office order.</span></p>
