<p>1. The industry has installed a dual stage alkali scrubber for removal of NOx from the process. </p>
<p>2. The industry has got the APCD efficiency study done from GNE, as per which a continuous shower of NaOH shall be circulated in the scrubber for removal of Nitrogen Oxide which will be converted to Sodium Nitrate and Nitrite. Scrubber effluent will be collected in storage cum settling tank of 5m3 capacity, where the sodium nitrate and nitrite shall be recovered through evaporation. The bye-products shall be dried, stored and will be sold seperately as these are the products having financial value in the market.</p>
<p>3. As after evaporation, the left out solids in the form of sodium nitrate and nitrite are to be sold having commerical value as such no hazardous waste in the form of condenstate shall be generated as per GNE report.</p>
