<p>The pointwise reply to the clarifications sought is as under:</p>
<p>1. What method is proposed to remove the insulation from copper/aluminium windings from coils of motors and pollution control measures proposed thereof.</p>
<p>Reply by the industry-</p>
<p>The industry does not remove insulation from copper/aluminium windings from motor coils and sell these coils to furnaces as it is.</p>
<p>2. If the raw material is covered under HoWM Rules does the industry requires to obtain actual user certificate before any purchase of the same for processing.</p>
<p>Reply of RO-</p>
<p>Since, the raw material i.e. electric motor is not covered under HOWM Rules, 2016, therefore actual user certificate is not required to be obtained by the industry.</p>
<p>3. Whether such type of industry requires to obtain SAC clearance/ Environmental clearance.</p>
<p>Reply by RO- The industry is not covered under first schedule of Factories Act 1948. Therefore, it is not required to obtain site clearance under SAC.</p>
