Thereafter the hotel was issued show cause notice for revocation of consent to operate granted under Water Act, 1974 with hearing before Senior Environmental Engineer on 08.09.2022 in which it was decided that c</span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">onsent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 to the hotel be revoked and the hotel shall submit Bank Guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- as an assurance for regular operation of STP, making arrangements for disposal of solid waste generation and to comply with provisions of Water Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white; margin: 0cm 4.65pt .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">Accordingly, the consent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 to the hotel was revoked by the Board vide letter no. 3110 dated 07.10.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 33.05pt; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white; margin: 0cm 4.65pt .0001pt 2.95pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">Now, the hotel has applied for varied consent and as per agenda note, the hotel was visited by the AEE on 17.02.2023 and reported that the hotel has now purchased a farming land on lease for utilization of its treated effluent from its ETP and has submitted land agreement for disposal of its treated effluent and plan showing pipeline with area of disposal as 1.24 Acres which is adequate for utilization of discharge of 24.0 KLD.</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">The hotel has submitted copy of agreement for disposal arrangements of its solid waste with Municipal Council, Goraya.</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">The hotel is not generating any trade effluent and only Domestic<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>effluent is discharged into onto land for plantation after treatment with oil and grease trap followed by STP. It has also installed water meter at outlet.</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; letter-spacing: .45pt;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">The<span style="letter-spacing: .4pt;"> </span>hotel<span style="letter-spacing: .35pt;"> </span>has<span style="letter-spacing: .25pt;"> </span>submitted<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>building plan<span style="letter-spacing: .5pt;"> </span>approved by M.C Goraya.</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">The industry has also submitted a Bank Guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- vide no. 35220ILG000122 dated 21.12.2022 valid upto 21.12.2024 as an assurance for regular operation of STP, making arrangements for disposal of solid waste generation and to comply with provisions of Water Act, 1974.</span></p>

Store horticulture waste and garden waste generated from such premises separately in within the own premises and</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">4(8) All hotels and restaurants shall, within one year from the date of notification of these rules and in partnership with the local body ensure segregated of waste at sources as prescribed in these rules, facilitate collection of segregated waste in separate streams, handover recyclable material to either the authorized waste pickers or the authorized recyclers. The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated and disposed off through composting or bio-methanation within the premises as far as possible. The residual waste shall be given to the waste collectors or agency as directed by the Local body.</span></p>
