<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">It is intimated that earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. ASR/RO/APC/2013/F-26 dated 10/07/2013 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. RO/ASR/WPC/2012/F-34 dated 17/08/2012, which were valid up to 31/12/2022 <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">under Green Category for processing, grading and standardization of Dry Fruits @ 8000 Kgs/day along with one no. baby boiler & one no. borma (wood fired).</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 under Green Category <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">for production of Cashew @ 7 Metric Tonnes/Day & Almond Kernels @ 1.4 Metric Tonnes/Day, by using Cashew Nuts @ 7 Metric Tonnes/Day & Almonds @ 2 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw materials along with domestic effluent @ 3.6 KLD (discharged of which was into sewer after septic tank) and without boiler along with Compliance of the previous granted consents, site/location Plan, CA Certificate, approved map, rent deed, copy of Udyog Aadhaar Certificate, manufacturing process, DTP letter issued vide no. 1368 dated 03/08/2011 and request letter etc.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry has deposited Rs. 64,640/- vide Receipt No. 797937457 dated 07/02/2023 as consent fee under Air Act, 1981 (including Rs. 640/- as penalty fee) and Rs. 65,140/- vide Receipt No. 797937457 dated 07/02/2023 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974 (including Rs. 640/- as penalty fee & Rs. 500/- as an application form fee), which are adequate up to 31/12/2032 under both Acts. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry was visited by officer of this office on 07/03/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">During visit the industry was in operation.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry is engaged in the production of Cashew @ 7 Metric Tonnes/Day & Almond Kernels @ 1.4 Metric Tonnes/Day, by using Cashew Nuts @ 7 Metric Tonnes/Day & Almonds @ 2 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw materials.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">No trade effluent was seen coming from the process of the industry.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">The discharge of domestic effluent is into sewer after septic tank. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry has installed DG sets of capacity 200 KVA & 87 KVA, which are provided with canopies.</span></li>
</ol>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;">It is further intimated that the industry is complying with the conditions of the consents granted under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry falls in Green category in small-scale sector.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>In view of the above, if approved, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry under Green Category up to 31/12/2032 with usual terms and conditions and special conditions that:-</span></p>
