<p style="text-align: justify;">As the industry falls in the Industrial Mix zone as per the Master plan, Ludhiana (2007-31), and no comments have been given by the Department of Town & country planning, Ludhiana, the site can be considered suitable for the operation of Green Category Industries. As the industry falls in the Green category, the Byelaws of the Master plan include “The Mixed Land use zone along abovesaid roads shall not include uses like manufacturing and industries prohibited in the such area by the Science, Technology, and Environment Deptt.”</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Further, the DTP, Ludhiana in a few cases has certified that the Green category industries are permissible in Mix Land Zone. (Certificate attached). As there are no industry-specific guidelines for such types of units the Board, the industry can be allowed to operate subject to suitable conditions.</p>
