CTOA/Fresh/ASR/2018/7448907 dated 26/04/2018 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/ASR/2018/7449001 dated 24/04/2018, which are valid up to 30/09/2022 with the name and style of M/s Mundh Hospital.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the hospital has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with Compliance of the previous granted consents under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, BMW Compliance Report, Annual Report, Agreement and Request Letter with the new name and style of M/s Mundh Hospital (A Unit Of New Bhandari Enterprises).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><a name="_Hlk86673810"></a>The hospital has deposited Rs. 12,000/- vide UTR/Reference No. 000792554629 dtd 21/01/2023 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 12,000/- vide UTR/Reference No. 000784463633 dtd 21/01/2023 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate up to 30/09/2028 and Rs 500/- vide UTR No. 000784462676 dated 21/01/2023 as application form fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The Hospital was visited by officer of this office on 14/03/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.5in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The hospital has installed primary water treatment equipment in Laboratory and Operation Theatre with the help of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution and no STP-cum-ETP installed at the outlet of hospital.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.5in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Hospital has submitted undertaking that the hospital is located within the limit of Municipal Corporation, Amritsar and has also granted permission to discharge the effluent into MC, sewer vide no. 1656 dated 06/12/2022, in which the MC, Amritsar authority has permitted the hospital to discharge waste water into Municipal Corporation Sewerage, only through private sewerage under the Municipal norms vide ID No. 89710 and 159461.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.5in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The hospital has installed D.G. set of capacity 60 KVA, which is fitted with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is further intimated that the hospital is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hospital is having bed capacity of 30 beds and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the HCF up to 30/09/2027 subject to usual conditions and along with special conditions as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.5in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The HCF will renew its agreement time to time made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry and submit the copy of same in this office.</span></p> |
