The industry has applied under VDS scheme for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has submitted CA Certificate, lease deed, site plan, <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">letter issued by MC, Hoshiarpur regarding classification of area.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The industry has deposited Rs. 18000/- vide UTR no. UCBAH23054430220 23.02.2022 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 18000/- vide UTR no. UCBAH23054430108 dated 23.02.2022 under Water Act, 1974, the fee is adequate for the period upto 31.03.2024. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 3.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The industry was visited by officers of this office on 14.03.2023 and observed that the industry was in operation and engaged in manufacturing of plywood. The industry has installed 1 no. boiler of capacity 2 TPH alongwith cyclone separator with APCD and stack height provided.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has installed 01 no. D.G set capacity 62.5 KVA fitted with canopy. The industry has installed 02 no. vertical band saw, 1 no. hot press and 01 no. cutting machine. There is no source of trade effluent only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">Further, it is intimated that the industry has uploaded letter from Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur vide letter no. 805 dated 21.10.2021 which it is mentioning that the industry shall shift its unit upto 2024.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">In view of above, if approved that it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2024 with special condition that:</span></p>
