<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span></span></strong><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is submitted that earlier the Hot Mix Plant was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2021/16571228 dated 30/09/2021 which is valid upto 30/09/2025 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2021/16571220 dated 30/09/2021 which was expired on 30/09/2022 for Crushed Sand Bitumen @ 60 MT/day</span> <span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Now, the Hot Mix Plant has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with compliance reports of the conditions mentioned in the previous consents granted to it, sampling report and consent fee. The unit has submitted the copy of lease extension deed executed on 15.03.2023 and is valid upto 05.08.2027. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The Hot Mix Plant has submitted the CA Certificate dated 10.10.2022, wherein, the total value of fixed assets as on 30.09.2022 is Rs. 49.44 lakhs with value of plant and machinery is Rs. 31.9 lakhs. As per record file, the fee deposited by the unit under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 was adequate upto 30.09.2025. Now, the unit has deposited Rs. 2900/- vide UTR No. AXSK223340007755 dated 30.11.2022 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. As such, the fee deposited by the unit under the Air Act, 1981 is adequate upto 31.05.2026 after deducting 25% penalty as late application fee. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, the Hot Mix Plant has submitted the stack emission analysis report dated 16.02.2023 and the analysis results of Particulate Matter (PM) is <strong>126.9 mg/Nm<sup>3</sup></strong> which is within the permissible limit prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The Hot Mix Plant was visited by the AEE of this office on 10.03.2023 and Sh. Arun Soni, Representative was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>From above, <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">it is clear that the Hot Mix Plant is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In view of the above facts, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.09.2025 in consonance to the Water consent, subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:</span></p>
