<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small scale red category unit and was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 valid upto 20.06.2020 and Air Act 1981 valid upto 30.06.2023 for raw to wet blue to dye. Further the electric connection of the member industry was restored lastly upto 31.12.2021 as per letter no. 3684 to 3742 dated 12.10.2021 with the direction to operate the plant & machinery upto 31.12.2021.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. Regional Office-2, Jalandhar has processed the consent application of industry and as per detail agenda note, the industry was visited by AEE on 02.03.2023 and the industry has installed 1 of DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy at site and adequate stack height.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with suitable conditions please.
