The industry is located in Village Ghoarwahi, P.O Ladhra, Tehsil Jalandhar-1, Distt Jalandhar. The industry has purposed to manufacture of RAW RICE @ 04 TPH, RICE BRAN @ 01 TPH and RICE HUSK @ 01 TPH by using paddy @ 06 TPH.             The proposed site was visited by officers of this office on 15.03.2023 and observed that the site of the industry is located in Village Ghorawahi (Bhogpur to Adampur Road) P.O Ladhra, District Jalandhar in an area measuring 5.16525 acres bearing Khasra no. 40//18 (3-10), 40//21 (8-0),  55//1/1 (7-7), 1/2 (0-13), 41//25 (8-0), 54//4/1 (7-3), 5/1 (0-18), 4/2 (0-9), 5/3 (0-15), 5/4 (0-13), 5/2 (5-14), 40//22/1 (0-9), 23/1 (0-6-4), 40//19 (8-0). The work w.r.t construction of boundary wall has started. The industry has proposed to install 1 no. shelling section with cyclone separator and 1 no. dryer. There will be no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is proposed to be discharge onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. The industry has deposited Rs. 10800/- vide R. no 588530696 dated 15.02.2023 as NOC Fee, which is adequate for one year.             As per CLU certificate issued by DTP Jalandhar and report issued by Tehisldar, the site is complying with siting guidelines fixed for establishment of rice sheller by Government notification dated 15.10.2013 and 05.08.2021 and therefore, the site is suitable for establishment of rice sheller.             In view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with usual terms and conditions and with special conditions that:- <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: 8.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 106%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">1.      The Rice sheller shall comply with the code of practice prescribed by Punjab Govt.
