The industry has provided solar panels at site.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed 32 nos. roller gin machines (2 sets of 16 machines each) in one shed for ginning of raw cotton. Pneumatic conveyor system, consisting of two conveyor belts has been provided for conveying raw material from the storage area into these roller gin machines.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided cyclone separators as APCDs with both sets of roller gin machines for control of dust emissions and has now provided adequate stack with both APCD along with sample collection arrangement. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed DG set 144 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has labour quarters constructed inside its premises near the entry. Domestic effluent from these quarters is being disposed of into MC sewer of Abohar City. The industry has provided septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent generated from the office block with provision to discharge in open drain which further connected with MC sewer for disposal of effluent. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 0in; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thus, the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981. The industry has not increased its production capacity. The industry has already made arrangement for control of noise and dust pollution in compliance to the Ministry of Environment & Forests notification No. GSR 546 (E) dated 30.08.2005.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 0in; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consents to operate applied under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 under green category granted to the industry for a period upto 31.12.2027 with suitable conditions.</span></p> |
