Therefore, the site under complaint was visited by officer AEE of RO on dated&nbsp; &nbsp;28.02.2023</span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">&nbsp; and the matter( disposal of brunt soil)</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';">was discussed at length with both the complainant and the Sarpanch of the Village and it was agreed upon as under</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';">1. The Sarpanch shall complete the street work (lying interlocking tiles after leveling) up to the complainants&rsquo; houses.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';">2. The Sarpanch shall carry out the cleaning of drains so that sewerage is not stagnated around the houses of complainants.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';">3. The Sarpanch shall carry out both these activities within 02 months i.e. 30.04.2023 and if he fails to do so within the stipulated time then the burnt sand filled in the Panchayat land will be removed</span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">&nbsp;As above the industry has redressed the grievance of villagers w.r.t the indiscriminate disposal of Brunt sand.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">The site of the industry namely M/s Perfect International, Bannmajra, Rupnagar was jointly visited by Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SAS Nagar &amp; Environmental&nbsp; Engineer, Regional Office, Ropar along with AEE&nbsp; on 23.02.2023 and during the visit, and observed that&nbsp; 1. The industry was in operation.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">2. The industry is engaged in the manufacturing of benzokol @ 20 TPD from coal and sawdust.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">3. The industry has installed one multistage sieve shaker (rotary) of capacity 60-70 TPD for reprocessing of burnt sand being lifted from M/s Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Limited, Swaraj Foundry Division, Sialba Majri. This machine basically is a screener which screens burnt sand into excessive fines (&lt;200 mesh), lumps/ granules (&gt;20 mesh), and suitable graded sand of AFS (American Foundry Standard) no. 50-55 mesh. This suitable graded reclaimed sand is sold further to small units (foundry) for use in moulding sand.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">4. The record of weighbridge slips maintained by the industry for lifting burnt sand from M/s Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Limited was checked and on average 1500 T of burnt sand is lifted.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">5. The burnt sand and processed sand are stocked in open the adjacent plot occupied by the industry.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">&nbsp;As per above, it is my opinion that the industry has made compliance with a hearing decision no 1. As well as industry has redressed the grievance of villagers w.r.t the indiscriminate disposal of Brunt sand.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">The reason for the delay in publishing decisions as due to the heavy workload in the office.&nbsp; Special care will be taken in the future, please.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', 'sans-serif';">Submitted, please.</span></p>
