<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"> It is informed that the industry has now applied for consent under Water Act, 1974 through OCMMS and the matter of the industry was processed through Eoffice file no. 142161 & it has been decided<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>by Competent Authority of the Board that on best judgmental assessment basis, the industry be directed to deposit Environmental Compensation of Rs. 50,000/- considering the compliances made by the industry and fixed assets of the industry of Rs. 4.9 lac only as per details given by Regional Office-2, Jalandhar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"> As such, RO is directed to get the Environmental Compensation of Rs. 50,000/- deposited from the industry, immediately and process the consent application on merits.</span></p> |
