The industry has set up dedicated area for the washing of roller and also installed evaporator near to this area for further treatment. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;">The industry shall immediately apply authorization as required under the Hazardous & other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 also shall also make agreement with registered recyclers for disposal of empty ink containers and for disposal of waste cotton rags with requisite documents.</p>

But the re-processor has asked to submit the consent to operate of the Board. Thereafter, they will make an agreement under said categories as informed by the owner of the unit.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;">The industry has also assured that they will apply for authorization under Hazardous & other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 after getting the consent to operate of the Board immediately.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted as per earlier recommendations please.</p> |
