CTOW/Renewal/MOG/2019/9530669</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and CTOA/Renewal/MOG/2019/9530601 dated 04.04.2019 for operation of rice sheller unit for production of raw rice @ 6 TPH with dryer alongwith sortex machine, for a period upto 30.09.2023, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> Now the industry has applied in small/orange category (as per new Board’s policy dt. 22.09.2016 for categorization of industries) for obtaining renewal of consents under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for operation of rice sheller unit for production of raw rice @ 6 TPH with dryer, alongwith sortex machine of capacity 4 TPH for manufacturing of sorted rice. Details of the case are as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted CA certificate as on dated 09.02.2023 regarding its gross fixed assets of Rs. 266.09 lakhs. The industry has deposited Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR.no. SBIN223058990275 dated 27.02.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR.no. SBIN223058986413 dated 27.02.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 respectively, which is adequate for a period up to 30.09.2028 under the both Acts..</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Punjab Pollution Control Board in order to facilitate the industries vides office order no. 59 dt. 02.02.2016 has decided that renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 will be granted to the industries (Orange/Green Category- Small Scale) without visiting the unit within 7 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Further, it is intimated that the industry will be visited during tour to that area within two months to check the compliance under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and report will be submitted accordingly.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Keeping in view of the above may if approved:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30.09.2028 for operation of rice sheller unit for production of raw rice @ 6 TPH with dryer alongwith sortex machine of capacity 4 TPH for manufacturing of sorted rice, subject to the suitable conditions and following specific condition:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry will be visited during tour to that area in due course of time and if found not complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as well as with code of practice prescribed for rice sheller units by the State Govt. vide order dated 15.10.2013, the consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 will be revoked without any further intimation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">This consent is granted to the industry subject to the submission of analysis report of emission samples collected and analyzed by the Boards lab viz-a-viz achievement of the prescribed emission standards applicable to rice shellers. The industry shall submit analysis report of emission sample analyzed from the Board’s lab to this office, in the upcoming paddy season 2023-24.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry will always comply with the guidelines issued by Deptt. of Science Technology & Environment Govt. of Punjab vide Order No. 10/48/2004-STE (4)/932 dated 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry is bound to upgrade / replace its existing APCD as and when asked by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">In case the industry plans to install any DG set within its premises, it shall install acoustic enclosure on the same as per the guidelines prescribed by the Board.</span></p> |
