<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the project proponent was earlier granted Consent to Establish (NOC) from PBIP vide no. 253 dated 04/05/2018 ,which<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>was valid upto 03/05/2019 under name and style of M/s Baba Banda Singh Bahadur enterprises for Residential plots @ 242 no. (114 Plots & 128 independent floor of S+4 configuration), EWS area over 1.254 acres and commercial area, public building & School in a total plot area of 24.828 acres, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter, the industry was visited by the officer of the board on 14.09.2022 and observed that 22 families are residing in the colony and the PP has neither commissioned the STP nor provided the scientific disposal. Therefore, the competent authority of the Board has confirmed directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no.314- 318 dated 17.01.2023 to M/s BBSB Enterprises ,which are as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 90.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent shall stop its construction at site and stop forthwith discharging any effluents/ wastewater into sewer/ into storm water drain/ inland surface water/ onto land for stagnation/ irrigation or through any other mode.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 90.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">PSPCL authorities shall not to release any electric connection for this project or any of its components, with immediate effect.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the project proponent has applied partial consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 60 plots and 100 DU, alongwith requisite documents and fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted its CA certificate mentioning the cost of the project of Rs. 49.48 Crore as on 31/01/2023. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 1,44,000/- vide online R no. 567254870 dated 10/02/2023 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no 1,44,000/- vide online R. no. 547894986 dated 10/02/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto one year, under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted its site plan got approved by Competent Authority. The project proponent has made an agreement between village chapper cheri Kalan Sector 92, Mohali and M/s Baba Banda Singh Bahadur enterprises for disposal of domestic waste as per karnal technology. The total area of land for disposal of treated domestic wastewater is approx. 7.0 acre.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><strong><u><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Water Pollution:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project has submitted project report, which shows that the total water requirement for project will be 652 KLD.</span> <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The wastewater generation from the residential colony will be about 522 KLD, which will be treated in the proposed STP of capacity 550 KLD based on MBBR Technology.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The components of the STP are </span><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: CIDFont+F1; mso-bidi-font-family: CIDFont+F1;">Collection Tank, MBBR Reactor, Tube-settler, Clear water sump, Dual Media Filter, Sludge drying beds.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0cm .0001pt 0cm;"><strong><u><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Solid Waste:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has mentioned in the proposed project report about 1945 kg/day of solid waste will be generated. The solid waste shall be duly segregated into biodegradable and non-biodegradable components. The project proponent has submitted the copy of purchase order for installation of mechanical compster and the PP has assured that they will install the same within 02 months . </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of the project was visited by AEE of this office on 03/03/2023 and during visit it was observed that:</span></p>

Out of 04 blocks, 02 independent block construction started and remaining 02 block construction has not started yet. Approx. 88 flats construction work has been completed and approx. 50% flats finishing work have been completed. Presently, 12-14 families are residing in these flats as confirmed by the representative of the project.</span></p>

Presently, 35 families are residing in these kothies.</span></p>

The project proponent has just started STP with help DG set, which is under stabilization. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The project proponent has also install permanent pipe line network for the disposal treated effluent onto land for plantation .The project proponent has installed water meter at the outlet line of STP. The project proponent has interchanged the site/ location of utility area with the STP. The project proponent has also developed plantation area under karnal technology in an area of 100’x 260’. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -56.15pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 92.15pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>b) The Project proponent shall install dual plumbing line in the <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>independent floor and color coding the treated water line effluent, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>sewage /untreated effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -56.15pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 92.15pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>C) The Project proponent shall maintain the area developed under <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>karnal technology.</span></p>
