<p style="text-align: justify;">Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO. It is intimated that the industry has applied for the renewal of CTO under the Water Act, of 1974 and RO has reported that the solvent being kept by the industry in an open space can catch fire and become a huge environmental hazard, at any time. Further, it is also evident that the solvent/leachate getting stagnated in katcha space can contaminate the soil as well as the groundwater of the area. The industry does</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per above the industry is continuing violations under the Water Act,1974, and has not made compliance with the hearing decision. EE.RO has not given comments on the compliance with the hearing decision -8( to verify the statements of the industry made during the hearing, check the contents of the video (complaint) to identify the industry by whom the wastewater has been discharged </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> May if approved CTO under the Water Act,1974 be refused without any notice as the industry is the chronic violator. Further action is being processed through e-note 20443147</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">EE RO may also be requested to verify the compliance with the hearing decision -8( to verify the statements of the industry made during the hearing, check the contents of the video (complaint) to identify the industry by whom the wastewater has been discharged and send his report/recommendations accordingly within 07 days, positively.</p>
