<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small-scale red category unit engaged in manufacturing of Finished Leathers @ 1953 Sq.m/day. Earlier, the industry was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 valid upto 31.03.2023 for trade effluent @ 73 KLD into drain leading to CETP at Leather Complex & domestic effluent @ 2.4 KLD into PSIEC sewer and Air Act, 1981 valid upto 30.06.2023. The electric connection was also restored temporarily upto 31.03.2023 vide Board’s letter no. 3399 dated 01.11.2022.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"> Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents and as per agenda note, RO has reported that the industry was visited by AEE on 10.03.2023 and observed that the industry has installed 06 no. wooden dyeing drums out of which 03 no. drums were found sealed and 03 no. drums is operational at site. The industry has installed 05 no. sampling drums. The industry has also installed another 02 no. new drums and same were also found sealed (non-operational condition). The industry has installed 3 no. auto spray machines. As per record, the average daily consumption is about 29 KL and discharge is about 16 KL. Discounting for domestic usage in boiler of the industry the record seems to be in consonance.</p>
