<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"> The unit is a small scale orange category residential project and the project proponent has applied for ‘Consent to Establish' (NOC) for establishment of a residential plots at Vill. Pholriwal, H.B. No. 252, Jalandhar in an area measuring 6.708 acres. As per agenda note, RO has reported that the site was visited on 14.03.2023 and observed that the project proponent has demarcated the boundary wall of the proposed project at site. There is no air polluting industry i.e. brick kiln, rice sheller, stone crusher, saila plant, cement plant, grinding unit, hot mix plant falling within a radius of 100 mtr from the boundary of the proposed site. There is no MAH industry located within a distance of 500 mtr from the proposed site. Therefore, the site of the project is conforming to the sitting guidelines laid down by the Govt. of Punjab, Department of Science Technology and Environment vide order dated 25/07/2008 as amended on 30/10/2009.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The project proponent has submitted CLU Certificate vide its Memo No. CA-JDA-CLU-2022/5381 dated 08.08.2022 for area 6.708 acres. The project proponent has uploaded building plan approved by Chief Administrator, JDA, Jalandhar vide no. JDA-2022/53 dated 16.12.2022 as per which the total site area is 6.708 acres and 108 residential plots and 11 shops have been proposed and green area of 0.74 acre has been proposed. As per the feasibility report submitted by the project proponent the total fresh water requirement for the project has been estimated to be 221.5 KLD and the total waste water generation will be 178 KLD. The treatment capacity of the proposed STP will be 210 KLD, which will be based on MBBR technology which is principally adequate. The project proponent has proposed to utilize the treated effluent onto land for plantation to be developed as per Karnal Technology in 2.74 acres i.e. 2 acres land on lease and 0.74 acre within the project site. The project proponent has also submitted copy of agreement of 2 acre adjoining agriculture land for utilization of treated effluent.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"> The project shall generate solid waste @ 652 kg/day which will be segregated into recyclable, Biodegradable and inert waste. A mechanical composter of capacity 300 Kg shall be installed for the treatment of biodegradable waste. Recyclable waste shall be sold to approved vendors/recyclers. Non-Bio-degradable waste will be disposed off as per the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; tab-stops: 146.25pt;"> Keeping in view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the colony for one year with suitable conditions and with special conditions that:-</p>

The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated and disposed of through composting by providing mechanical composter of capacity 300 kg/day.</p>
