<p style="text-align: justify;">Kindly peruse the note and recommendation given by RO .</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">May if approved RO be requested to give his pointwise comments on the special condition previously granted to CTO under the Water Act 1974 and special condition condition that </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 1) The industry shall provide a wall along the boundary adjacent to the Nallah/ drain so that any incidence of inadvertent seepage/ leakage/ discharge of wastewater from the plantation area to the drain can be ruled out, </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 2) The industry shall provide ridges and furrows in the land pocket (non-furrowed area) wherein the huge quantity of effluent was found stagnated during the conduct of the visit on 30.03.2022; after maintaining a 20 feet barren corridor between the plantation area and the drain, </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 3) The industry shall provide an online continuous effluent monitoring system (OCEMS) for the prescribed parameters at the outlet of the ETP and connect the same to the server of PPCB and CPCB.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 4) The industry clears the entire plantation area of any wild growth/ dead leaves/ shrubs and shall maintain the plantation area as well as a permanent pipeline network for uniform distribution of wastewater in the entire plantation area, so that no stagnation of wastewater occurs inside, outside or in the plantation area at any time.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 5) The industry shall properly operate its effluent treatment plant by maintaining operational parameters such as concentration of MLSS / MLVSS, Alkalinity, the concentration of nitrogen, F/M ratio, DO, pH, and BOD: N:P ratio in the aeration tank, and the value of all parameters should be depicted on the display board to be installed in the vicinity of the ETP.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 6) The industry shall not discharge any trade & domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river Ghaggar or in inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means and shall explore the possibility of reduction of quantum of abstraction of groundwater by reusing the treated wastewater in the various activities.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> EE,RO may also be requested to send the fresh recommendation immediatly .</p> |
