<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"><span lang="EN-US">Discussed ,it is submitted that the HCF is located with in MC limits .Further , the Board vide its order dated 100 dated 10.03.23 has decided <strong>to grant consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and authorization under Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 upto the extended time (30.9.2023) to all the bedded healthcare facilities in towns and cities where terminal Sewage Treatment Plant is to be installed or the same is to be made functional, however, subject to the following conditions: i) Indian Medical Association (IMA), Punjab shall pursue the Health Care Facilities to make sincere efforts for the installation of ETP-cum-STP. i) Health Care Facilities shall make sincere and concrete efforts and submit PERT chart to the Board office, regarding the installation of ETP-cum-STP to achieve the effluent standards prescribed under the Bio Medial Waste Management Rules, 2016 as amended from time to time.</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"><span lang="EN-US">Keeping in view of above, it is, therefore, recommended that renewal of CTO under the Water Act,1974 and under the Air Act ,1981 may be granted upto 30.09.23 to the HCF with subject to suitable conditions and special conditions that:-</span></p>

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Punjab shall pursue the Health Care Facilities to make sincere efforts for the installation of ETP-cum-STP.</span></p>
