CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2018/7468881 dated 25/04/2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2018/7468864 dated 25/04/2018, both having validity upto 31/03/2023, for operation of Screening-cum- Washing plant with capacity of River Bed Material @8000 CFT/day, as product, subject to certain condition as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0in 0.2pt 6pt 0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Screening-cum- Washing of River Bed Material @8000 CFT/day as products, along with requisite document. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0in 0.2pt 6pt 0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">As per record file, the previous fee is adequate upto 30.09.2023. Now, the industry has deposited Rs. 900/- vide R. no. 681215386 dated 14.03.2023 and Rs. 18000/- vide UTR no. SBIN423030663174 dated 30.01.2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 18000/- vide UTR. no. SBIN423030659978 dated 30.01.2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2028 (considering of NOC regularization fee of Rs. 900/-) for both the Acts against the fixed assets of Rs. 52.18 lakhs on 27.01.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0in 0.2pt 6pt 0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif'; color: red;"> </span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">It is worth to mention here that as per the office order dated 02/02/2016, it has been directed to process the cases of Orange and green category of industries solely on the undertaking submitted by the industry and since the project proponent has submitted the compliance report of the conditions imposed in the consent to operate granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the same may be considered as good as the undertaking to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Hence, the industry was not visited by undersigned since it has apply for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><strong><u><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Recommendations</span></u></strong><strong><u><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">In view of above, may if approved, ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, may be renewed for upto 30.09.2027 subject to suitable conditions and the following additional conditions as under:</span></p>

CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2018/7468881 dated 25/04/2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2018/7468864 dated 25/04/2018.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">This consent is being auto-granted to the industry for operation of screening-cum-washing plant only, based upon the details filed by the industry in its online application form.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The industry shall not add any additional machinery and/or land area in its premises, without prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The industry shall comply with the code of practice laid down by the Board for such kind of units, at all times.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The industry shall continue operating the water sprinkler system to suppress the dust emission.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The industry shall not take participate any illegal mining activity and shall not procure raw material from any illegal mines.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The unit shall ensure that no nuisance is created in the vicinity of its premises from the operations of its service station. In case, any complaint is received against the unit, the Board shall be at liberty to revoke/ cancel this consent without giving any opportunity of hearing to the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The ‘consent to operate’ is being issued to the project proponent based upon the documents/ information submitted by it alongwith the online application form. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry/project proponent and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time, without any opportunity of Personal Hearing.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">9.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">In case the project proponent fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the project proponent.</span></p>
