<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0.05pt 17pt 0.0001pt 41.35pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for production of <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Cold Rolled (C.R.) / Tempered steel strips<span style="letter-spacing: -0.1pt;"> </span>@<span style="letter-spacing: 0.05pt;"> </span>30,000 TPA</span>, subject to the conditions mentioned therein.</p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0.05pt 17pt 0.0001pt 41.35pt; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span>It is submitted that there has been increase in 2.3 Crores in the machinery accounts as per comparison of latest CA certificate submitted by the industry with the previous one submitted at the time of date of previous granted consents. In this regard, the industry has submitted a representation which is reproduced as under : -</p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0.05pt 17pt 0.0001pt 41.35pt;">1. (a) There has been an increase of Rs. 232 lakhs in the machinery account of the last 54 months. It is submitted that there has not been any addition to machinery directly involved in the production. The expenses incurred in machinery account has been mainly on account of upgradation of electrical equipments, purchase of mobile crane, upgradation of hydraulic equipments, emulsion handling equipment, laboratory equipment, tool room machines & sweeping machine etc. Copies of major invoices are attached.</p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0.05pt 17pt 0.0001pt 41.35pt;">(b) . Factory land measuring approx. 14 Kanal 10 marla which was on lease with the Company for last may years has been purchased during this period. This land is already included in the plan submitted with last consent (Copy of transfer deed attached).</p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin: 0.05pt 17pt 0.0001pt 41.35pt;">The industry has submitted analysis report of Air emission samples analyzed by Boards approved lab on 25.01.2023 & as per analysis report,all the parameters are found to be within permissible limit as prescribed by the Board.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">-<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed 5 nos. annealing furnaces, out of which only three are used at one time. The other two are standby. These are connected to a stack with a movable pipe when they are operated.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">-<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has provided 2 no. D.G. sets of capacity 1010 KVA each equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">-<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry is not using water in its process. Hence, no trade effluent is being generated. Domestic effluent generated from the toiler section is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 8pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 17.12px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 17.12px; font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that – renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 31.03.2028, </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 17.12px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">subject to the suitable conditions.</span></p> |
