<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has installed 2 no. power boilers of capacity 75 TPH, 1 no. power boiler of capacity 50 TPH, 1 no. recovery boiler of capacity 75 TPH and 1 no. recovery boiler of capacity 50 TPH out of which 2 no. power boilers capacity 75 TPH and 1 no. recovery boiler of capacity 75 TPH were in-operation. Separate ESPs installed as APCDs with all 5 no. boilers. Online continuous Air Emission monitoring system provided. The industry is in process to install another boiler of capacity 75 TPH for which it has not obtained consent to establish (NOC) of the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">During visit ETP of the industry was in operation. Online continuous effluent monitoring system installed at outlet of ETP for monitoring pH, BOD, COD, TSS, TDS and discharge. The industry has also installed separate energy meter with the ETP and the record of same is being maintained. The industry has installed CCTV camera on the ETP for assurance of regular operation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">STP provided for treatment of domestic effluent @ 90 KLD and the treated effluent after STP is discharged onto land for gardening.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has developed plantation area in about 596 acres in different segments for discharge of treated trade effluent. The industry has provided proper network for scientific discharge in the plantation area. No outlet was found in the drain provided by the industry for discharge of its effluent. Moreover, in the last visits, it has been verified that the industry is not discharging its untreated or treated effluent into the drain. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry has submitted the record of the lime sludge as well as fuel ash to be utilized in the low lying area as well as to be used by the BKOs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">Pits provided for vermi compost of kitchen waste and same was found in working condition.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> 8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry is complying is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and with the conditions imposed in the site clearance and environmental clearance.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Further, it has been reported that the industry has deposited a bank guarantee of Rs. 10.0 lac valid<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for a period upto 14.08.2023 in compliance to the decisions of the personal hearing dated 29.07.2011 held before the Hon'ble Chairman of the Board (the detail of which has been reported by the Regional Office vide note dated 03.03.2023). The Regional Office has reported that as per the record file the industry has achieved the effluent/emission samples collected by the officers of the Board from 2010 to 2022. Also, during this period the industry was granted consent/varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 after checking the compliance of environmental laws applicable to the industry. </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Further<span style="color: black;">, the industry has removed the incompletions observed by the officers of the Board during visit to the industry on 25.05.2011 & 26.07.2011 (due to which hearing was afforded to the industry on 29.07.2011).</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view above, if approved:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> A.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">Consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 31.03.2027, subject to the following specific conditions:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry will not undergo any change in the production capacity without obtaining prior permission of the Board and will ensure the operation of pollution control devices in a scientific manner to achieve the permissible standards prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry shall get the effluent/emission sampling analyzed from the Board's Lab/Board's approved lab as per the policy of the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry shall regularly operate & maintain its ETP and the treated effluent shall be discharged onto land for plantation / irrigation conforming to the effluent standards prescribed by the Board for such discharges. Further, the industry shall maintain proper record regarding the operation of its effluent treatment plant (ETP) at all times and make it available to the officer of the Board during the conduct of visit, without fail.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry shall maintain its plantation area as well as ensure provision of permanent channels for uniform distribution of wastewater in the entire plantation area after treatment through its ETP, so that no stagnation of wastewater occurs inside, outside or in the plantation area at any time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry shall not discharge any trade & domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo4;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The industry shall obtain consent to establish/operate of the Board under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for the new boiler under installation, within 15 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: black;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"> B.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The bank guarantee Rs. 10.0 lac deposited by the industry in compliance to the decision of the personal hearing dated 29.07.2011 held before the Chairman of the Board, be returned.</span></p>
