It is intimated that Direction u/s 33 A under Water Act,1974 was confirmed as the disposal arrangement submitted by the PP was not clear.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Now PP has &nbsp;re-applied CTE &nbsp;&nbsp;for the development of an Industrial park the project consists of 221 industrial plots in an area of 124955 sqm and 113 SCOs having a FAR area of 29807 sqm for the treated wastewater from 350 KLD STP will be used for horticulture demand in an area of 7.8 acres @ 174 KLD during summer; 57 KLD during winter and 16 KLD during monsoon and remaining will be used onto land for plantation onto 3.81-acre land to be developed as per Karnal Technology for the industrial park for green/orange category of industries only.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;It is intimated that about 35% of development work has been completed and occupancy has also been provided in 02 plots, however, no construction work of the proposed STP has started till date. Even 40 showrooms have also been constructed and occupancy may start in those also but there is no treatment facility available for the treatment of wastewater.PP has not made an adequate &nbsp;scientific mode of disposal to handle the wastewater to be generated from the project. The stormwater drain is also completed by PP&nbsp; and the&nbsp; PP has provided the discharge of this storm drain into N-choe.&nbsp; As per the master plan of SAS Nagar, the proposed site is classified as an industry and warehouse zone intended for intended to be used for the green industry, orange industry, and warehouse uses such as Computer software development, Knowledge Park, Assembly and repair of computer hardware and electronic equipment, Printing, publishing, and allied industries, Packing of dried foodstuff and Warehouse except for storage of chemicals. But proposed PP has proposed the industrial park for the green/orange category of industries only, and PP does not give details on industries to be installed in its park. PP has developed an industrial park area of 124955 sqm, but the built-up area is more than 20000 Sqm so as to project has been covered in Environmental Clearance under EIA notification dated 14.09.2000.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In view of the above, the project proponent has already been issued directions due to non-compliance and still not complying with the hearing decision as well as has started the construction without obtaining&nbsp;environmental clearance.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp; May if approved the following action be taken.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;I . CTE applied by the PP&nbsp; may be refused, please.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;2) Notice &nbsp;u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with an opportunity personal hearing before the Chairman sir with the following proposed direction.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;A)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Legal action will be initiated against the project proponent for &nbsp;violating the provisions of the Pollution Control Laws.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 115%;">EE, RO&nbsp; may also be requested to must give wide publicity for awareness of the general public so as to caution them not to purchase property in the said project</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p> <p style="background: white; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">( Competency: Chairman Sir )</span></p>
