<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Kindly peruse the note and recommendation given by RO. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that the Directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 was issued to the industry by the competent authority vide letter no 2334 dated 18.04.2022 to closer the unit as a violation of the provision with the Water Act,1974 . </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The industry obtained the CTO under Air Act,1981 under validity upto 31/05/2023, for slaughtering of buffalos @ 1200 numbers/day, for production of Chilled Frozen Buffalo @ 250 Metric Tonnes/Day as products, subject to a certain condition.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Now The industry has applied for renewal of CTO under the Air Act,1974 </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">The industry has installed one boiler wood fired of capacity 6 TPH along with APCD adequate stack height and another oil-fired boiler of capacity 3 TPH, which are kept as standby arrangements. </span> The stacks of 06 TPH boiler after APCD has monitored by the RO as per the analysis result parameter with in limit prescribed by the Board. The industry has installed three cookers in its rendering plant, out of which two are of capacity 6T each and one of 8T, which are equipped with cyclone followed by condensers (2 nos. installed in series), which are further followed by bio-filter to control the emissions causing odour. The representative of the industry was advised to provide eucalyptus oil sprinklers near the rendering area, so as to further improve the odour management system.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The industry has installed 3 HSD-fired DG sets of capacity 750 KVA, 650 KVA & 500 KVA which are equipped with canopy and stack of adequate heights. RO has also reported that the industry does comply with the provision of the Air Act, of 1981</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May if approved CTO under Air Act,1981 be further renewed Air up to 31.03.2027, with suitable conditions and additional conditions as proposed by EE, RO. EE, RO may also be requested to monitor the industry as per protocol framed by the Board to verify the compliance with environmental law and send the report along with recommendations.</span></p>
