<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Earlier the industry was found manufacturing carry bags of non-woven & BoPP. Accordingly, the directions were issued against the industry and PSPCL authorities were directed to disconnect electric connection of the industry. The industry was also directed to deposit Environmental Compensation amounting to Rs. 2 lac. The PSPCL vide TDCO No. 501/29 dated 14/11/2022 has disconnected the electricity supply of the industry.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">The industry has now applied for Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents and fees under Green Category. The previous application of the industry was returned and it was directed to resubmit after obtaining approval from DTP Ludhiana for the operation of the industry at present place. However, the industry has submitted that they have already applied for CLU from the MC Ludhiana. But the procedure of the same is lengthy and will take time. As per the letter of DTP Ludhiana, site falls in industrial mix zone. </span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">The industry has submitted Rs 2 Lac Environmental Compensation vide R.No. 57/5451 dated 04/11/2022. The industry has submitted Machinery bills as proof of date of commissioning as Dec/2018, Manufacturing process flow chart, Land Use classification certificate from DTP, Ludhiana as Industrial Mix Zone, CA Certificate regarding Fixed assets as on 31/03/2022 and Approved Building plant from Competent person of DOF. </span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">The industry was again visited by officer of the Board on 15/12/2022 to verify the contents of application and it was observed that the industry was not in operation due to non-availability of electricity. The industry has proposed to manufacture Printed and Plain Packaging Sheets for manufacturing Of Ladies Suits and Blanket Bags. There is no source of trade effluent/air pollution inside the industry and domestic effluent is discharged into MC sewer. The industry has installed Environmental Data Board outside the industry.</span></p>

<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">It is pertinent to mention here that the DTP, Ludhiana in few cases has certified that the Green category industries are permissible in Mix Land Zone. (one such Certificate has been attached with note dated 15.3.23 by AEE)</span></p>
