<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">The industry is a small scale green category unit. Earlier, the industry was visited by officer of the Board on 12.04.2022 and it was found manufacturing plastic carry bags. So, directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were issued for closure of unit and the industry was directed to deposit Environmental Compensation amounting to Rs. 2 lac. The PSPCL authority were directed to disconnect electric connection of the industry.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Thereafter, the industry has applied for Consents to Operate’ under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with requisite documents and fees. The industry had also deposited Environmental Compensation of Rs 2 lac. The consents were granted and electric connection was restored upto 22.2.2023.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Now, the industry has again applied for renewal of consents and restoration of electricity.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">The industry was visited by undersigned on 06/03/2023 and it was observed that:-</span></p>

<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">In view of report submitted by Regional Office, it is recommended as under:</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">1. Electric connection of the industry may be restored permanently.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 0in; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">2. Regional Office may be allowed to extend validity of grant consent to operate granted under green category upto 31.12.2027.</span></p>
