<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;">The industry is large scale red category unit and was earlier granted consent under Water Act, 1974 valid upto 31.03.2023 and Air Act, 1981 valid upto 30.06.2023.Thereafter, the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) dated 05.07.2022 valid upto 04.07.2023 by adding one new fermented product Plant of capacity 1.25 LLPD, a new Multi fuel Boiler of capacity 10 TPH and 1 No. DG set of capacity 750 KVA with canopy with total discharge of trade effluent @ 470 KLD and domestic effluent @ 25 KLD after treatment through ETP.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now the industry has applied for varied consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. As per agenda note RO has reported that the industry was visited by EE alongwith AEE on 09.03.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in manufacturing of Dahi, Lassi, Kheer, Ghee, Panjiri, Milk Powder & Dairy Whitener, Kaju Pinni, Liquid Pouch Milk, Paneer, White Butter. </span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;">The ETP was in operation & treated effluent was being discharged into sewer. The industry has provided online monitoring system. During visit, the readings were noted, pH-7.50, COD-66.2, TSS-23.9 and BOD- 10 mg/l. The effluent samples were collected during visit on 09.06.2022 by officers of this office and as per results, various parameters were found within the prescribed limit (pH-7.6, COD-80,BOD-23, TSS-18 and TDS- 670 and O&G- 6.6) Further, the effluent samples were collected during the visit on 23.11.2022 and sent to PBTI Lab, Mohali for analysis. As per analysis report received from PBTI, Mohali, all the parameters are found within the prescribed limits of the Board (pH-8.68, COD-9,BOD-<1, TSS-1.1, TDS- 996, O&G- BDL and MLSS- 4111) The industry has already installed the CCTV cameras covering various components of effluent treatment plant.</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of RO, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2026 with usual conditions and special conditions that:-</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;"> </span></p>
